項目簡介

本研究對設置媽閣至關閘巴士專道，以延伸輕軌一期的有效服務範圍、優化公交網絡、提升公交營運效率作出規劃。為實現媽閣至關閘巴士專道構想，研究團隊對沿線交通現況、交通需求量、巴士專道運作模式、配套設施等作深入考量，以制定投入資源較少、施工期較短的巴士專道方案，驅使巴士專道能盡快落實，同時能改善繁忙路段交通情況，使不同道路使用者也能獲益。

Project Description

The study proposed the express bus lane from Border Gate to Barra with the intent to extend the effective service catchment area of the LRT, to optimize the public transport network as well as advancing operation system. 

The study includes the analysis of current traffic condition and demand, express bus lane operation and ancillary facilities. For the purpose of low investment and short construction period that could also relieve traffic congestion and benefit the users.
